Who We Are
Our Journey!
Since its inception in 2015, Carolyn’s Kids has hosted events and provided opportunities for students and families. We are proud to service children across the Chicagoland area, having adopted schools in the city and the south suburbs. Our flagship scholarship “CKF Launch” initially began with awarding 10 to 20 8th graders. Over the years, we are pleased to announce each year we award 100- 8th graders funds to assist in paying school sponsored commencement activity and high school entrance fees.

About our Organization
Carolyn’s Kids is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization was created to meet the financial and supplementary needs of elementary aged students. Inspired and founded by Carolyn Griffin Palmer, the Carolyn’s Kids Foundation (CKF) is a manifestation of years working with children through teaching, coaching and mentoring in and across the Chicagoland area. Together, Carolyn with her daughters, LaCael Palmer-Pratt and Karilyn Palmer-Paschal, created this organization to be a blessing to others.

The Carolyn’s Kids Foundation Board is comprised of educators current and retired,-business executives, corporate and community members that are Compassionate Leader that works towards the Achievement of Service and Success. With a commitment to uplifting and empowering children and families, their goal is to provide a opportunities for students to get a fulfilling and meaningful educational experience.
