Carolyn’s Kids is proud to support graduating high school seniors
from Chicago, IL that have been accepted to attend Jackson State
University or Prairie View A&M University. Our founder Carolyn Griffin Palmer, is a proud graduate and partners with the Jackson State University Chicago Alumnae Chapter in supporting newly accepted Jacksonians.

CARRIE LYLE GRIFFIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Carrie Lyle Griffin, mother of our founder, Carolyn Griffin Palmer
valued the importance of education and maintained a strong work
ethic. She attended Southern Christian Institute in Edwards, MS. Campbell College and Jackson State College all part time and
worked during the day. Her dream of completing college was placed on hold to raise her four children. In 2018, Mrs. Griffin, gained he her heavenly wings. In honor of her memory, CKF presents this
scholarship to a mother that is currently pursuing her postsecondary education.
